REDCap – REDCap is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases. While REDCap can be used to collect virtually any type of data in any environment (including compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, FISMA, HIPAA, and GDPR), it is specifically geared to support online and offline data capture for research studies and operations.
Fees for using our REDCap services cover on-going support, administration and maintenance of the system.
Suitable for anonymised research data
Our instance of hosted on Cambridge University Information Services (UIS) servers. Suitable for holding anonymised data which has no personally identifiable data ( participants names, addresses). Data can be entered using data entry forms, collected through surveys sent to participants or using the mobile app. Accessible by any web browser and uses 2 Factor Authentication (2FA).

Consultation, Advice and Database Building
Initial consultation and basic support will be at no cost. Additionally, the CAM:IDE team can give you tutorials on how to use REDCap. This can include advice on how to build a project to your requirements and configuration of settings and modules. The other option is for us to build the project for you.
